Cy Twombly: Sculpture

This installation highlights seven sculptures by Cy Twombly, all recent additions to the museum's collection. Though best known for his paintings, Twombly has dedicated himself to making sculptures throughout his 60-year career.

Kandinsky at the Bauhaus, 1922-1933

Drawn from the museum's permanent collection, this intimate presentation features paintings and works on paper from a prolific period of Kandinsky's career, when he taught at the Bauhaus, the state-sponsored Weimar school of art and applied design founded by architect Walter Gropius.

Selections from the Permanent Collection

This exhibition features highlights from the Neue Galerie's superb holdings of German and Austrian fine and decorative arts from the first half of the twentieth century. The painting Adele Bloch-Bauer I (1907) by Gustav Klimt is on permanent display as part of this exhibition.

Richard Serra Drawing: A Retrospective

This first retrospective of drawings by the contemporary and post-minimalist American artist Richard Serra, presenting a comprehensive overview of some 40 years of his drawing activity.
